Gary McAndrew

Gary has spent his entire career in ventilator marketing and sales management.  He has been involved in launching a diverse set of respiratory technologies on a regional and national basis. He has held roles at Puritan-Bennett Novametrix and Respironics.  Gary is the ideal individual to lead our ventilator acquisition team.

Paul Woodring

Paul has deep experience in the design, development, marketing and sale of ventilators. His roles have spanned Vice President and General Manager at Puritan-Bennett, President and CEO of Inventive Technologies and President of the Respironics Hospital Division. His teams have developed the first microprocessor-controlled life support ventilator and the first GUI controlled ventilator. Paul’s career has uniquely prepared him to step in and help contribute to this difficult challenge for the US. He can be reached at paul@co-vents.org

William (Chip) Furniss

William (Chip) is a world-class medical device executive and engineer. He was deeply involved in the development of the first microprocessor ventilator at Puritan-Bennett. He later held a Business Unit Manager at Puritan-Bennett, Senior Director of Clinical Research at Respironics and Vice President at Bausch + Lomb. Chip will play a critical leadership role for Co-Vent in leading the engineering aspects of the service center. He can be reached at chip@co-vents.org.

Richard Ellis

Richard has spent his entire career in ventilator manufacturing, distribution and service. His roles at Puritan-Bennett spanned QA Manager, Director of Product Distribution and Sr. Director of Service. He later held roles at Respironics and Phillips where he was responsible for service of both ventilators and monitors. His service organizations have spanned depot and field repair in addition to remanufacturing. Richard is uniquely qualified to manage the service center repair process for Co-Vents.

Michael Raymer

Michael has held global executive leadership positions in medical device, healthcare IT, consumer health and diagnostics companies. At Puritan-Bennett, he led the Clinical Information Systems business which transformed clinical documentation and management of ventilators at the point-of-care device. Michael later went on to global strategy positions for GE Healthcare and Microsoft. Michael’s contacts across health industry and government have helped establish Co-Vent as the platform for repurposing the 100K decommissioned ventilatorsin the US.
